Piatti arrives in Montreal on Wednesday

After months of speculation and a number of accommodations to finally get the deal done, the Montreal Impact’s newest Designated Player is set to arrive in Montreal on Wednesday.


With a short layover at John F. Kennedy airport in New York, the Argentine is set to arrive in Montreal at 10:45am, on American Airlines flight number AA3509.


Following medical clearance, the man who led San Lorenzo to the Copa Libertadores final should train with his new club on Thursday morning and is expected to make his MLS debut Saturday at Stade Saputo against the Chicago Fire at 6:30pm.
