The Nutrilait player of the month, a program presented by Nutrilait, is an opportunity for Academy coaches to put forward and reward a player from the U13 and U14 group that distinguished himself, each month. The selection is based on athletic, academic and community criteria that tale into account the player’s efforts, progression, perseverance and involvement. Another important point is the player’s capacity to show initiative and leadership with different actions within the club or the community, all the while respecting the values of the Impact Academy.
The player of the month will have his photo displayed by the Centre Nutrilait locker rooms and will get a $200 gift card at Evangelista Sports.

Tomas Giraldo Ortiz
“In April, Tomas was a good example of what we want to see at the Montreal Impact Academy in terms of leadership, attitude and academic performance,” said Impact U13 head coach Serge Dinkota. “His teachers have good words about him, always saying that he is a positive example. He was also captain of the U13 group at the Tournoi Sans Frontière in Sens, France, where he played in all the games, performing with quality and being an example on and off the field.”

Oscar Marshall
“Oscar showed his will to improve his game in the month of April,” said Impact U14 head coach Eduardo Sebrango. “His concentration, competitive spirit and dedication made him one of the best in the 2002 group in the last month. All the hard work put in by Oscar during the previous month showed in his performance during practices and game. He is an example to follow for all our players at the Academy as we showed that, when you work on your game every day, the results will come.”
