MONTREAL – Midfielder Nathan Saliba was selected on Sunday by the Canadian national team for the current international break until September 10. He joins his teammates Jonathan Sirois and Joel Waterman, who were also selected. This is the first call-up to the national team for the 20-year-old number 19 of the Bleu-blanc-noir.
Canada will play two friendly matches during this window. Jesse Marsch's squad will face the United States on September 7 at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, and then Mexico at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on September 10.
