The Mauro Biello Tournament will be played for the first time at Centre Nutrilait. This year, eight U14 teams will participate in the tournament’s sixth edition on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1. All games are open to the public and admission is free.
The tournament’s objective is to offer high-level competition in a friendly atmosphere and to promote positive exchanges between clubs and the Montreal Impact Academy. Saturday’s games will be 30 minutes long – one half – and Sunday’s games, the knockout games, will last five minutes longer.
The Montreal Impact won the last two editions of the tournament. In 2016, the Bleu-blanc-noir won the final 4-2 against CS Longueuil.
