MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced that Mauro Biello has been named interim head coach of the first team, replacing Frank Klopas.
Biello, 43, is in his sixth year with the Montreal Impact coaching staff, including four as an assistant coach in MLS. He joined the staff on November 19, 2009, after a 19-year career as a professional player, including 16 in an Impact uniform.
