HERNÁN LOSADA
“I’m disappointed about the late goal, but I have to give Austin credit. They have a good roster. If I’m correct, the last three passes on their goal are from three players coming off the bench. It could have gone either way. I told my players at the half that the team scoring one goal would win the game. It was about keeping that focus until the end. I believe by moments we played a great game against a hard opponent. We improved compared to our first game against Inter Miami. There are a lot of positives and very good individual performances. I believe we deserve a lot more than zero points and zero goals after two games, but it's not about deserving, we have to go out there and make it happen.”
MATHIEU CHOINIÈRE (on the homegrown players record and Samuel Piette’s record )
“I'm very proud. It proves the Academy has been doing something right for a few years and that top players can come out of it. To get here and then see other teammates playing alongside me is a source of great pride. As for Sam and his new record, everyone is very happy for him. He is a pillar for the group, a leader, and we are all proud for him.”
