STADE SAPUTO, MONTRÉAL - CF Montréal defeated FC Cincinnati 3-1, thanks to a Prince Owusu brace in a span of three minutes in the second half.
Forward Daniel Ríos gave the Bleu-blanc-noir the lead in the first half following a superb attacking sequence. It was already his fifth MLS goal of the season and his seventh across all competitions.
CF Montréal will return to action on October 10 when it travels to face its longtime rivals, Toronto FC.
