MONTREAL – The International U14 Qualification Tournament, presented by Nutrilait, will start on Saturday, April 29, at Centre Nutrilait, at 9am. All games are open to all for free.
To begin, Étoiles de l’Est will face the Braves d’Ahuntsic on the Blue field (Notre-Dame street side) and L’Assomption will play against CS Mont-Royal Outremont on the White field (Saint Lawrence River side).
The group games are all scheduled on Saturday, while the knockout rounds will happen on Sunday, starting with the round of 16 at 10am. The Qualification Tournament final will be played on Sunday, at 5:30pm, on the Blue field.
This unique 16-team tournament is opened to amateur clubs from the province. The winner will qualify for the second edition of the International U14, presented by the Fédération des producteurs d’oeufs du Québec, which regroups six MLS clubs, including a team from the Montreal Impact, and Bologna FC, in Serie A. The International U14 will be played at Centre Nutrilait from June 29 to July 2, 2017.
