MONTREAL – The International U14 Qualification Tournament, presented by Nutrilait, will begin this Friday, May 3, at Centre Nutrilait, with group B matches at 6:10pm between ASM Lasalle and CS RDP and between CS Chomedey and CS Longueuil. All games are open to the public and admission is free.
A total of 16 teams, divided into four groups, will participate in the prestigious tournament for amateur clubs from Quebec. The tournament will take place throughout the weekend and the final will be played on Sunday, May 5, at 5:30pm, at Centre Nutrilait.
The winner of the competition will get a spot in the International U14, presented by the Fédération des producteurs d’oeufs du Québec, with the Montreal Impact, Bologna FC and five other MLS clubs, from June 27 to 30.
A total of eight clubs are taking part in the U14 Qualification Tournament for the first time, with four teams returning for a third straight year.
In 2017, the Montreal-Nord Pumas won the first edition of the tournament, while last year, CS Saint-Laurent won, earning the club a spot in the International U14.
