The Montreal Impact will host the third edition of the Mauro Biello Tournament for U14 teams this weekend at the Marie-Victorin Sports Complex, located at 7000 Maurice-Duplessis boulevard, in Montreal.
“It’s an important opportunity for our young prospects do play against other club teams,” said Academy director Philippe Eullaffroy. “This tournament will also help us validate their progression under match conditions.”
All of the eight U14 teams participating will play six 30-minute games. The Impact will have one entry in the tournament made up of players born in 2000/2001.
Each participant will be given a commemorative plaque, medals for the top three teams and two MVPs will be selected.
Impact assistant coach Mauro Biello will take part in some of the festivities.
