For the first time, players had the chance to see the works in progress of the new stadium, which should be finalized by December 2007.
Located on the corner of Sherbrooke and Viau Streets, the Saputo Stadium, a 13,000-seat soccer stadium, will become the new home of the Impact as of the 2008 season.
The construction of the project, estimated at $15 million, is entirely privately funded. Half of this amount -$7.5 million- was donated by the Saputo family.
