As announced on March 9, season ticket prices will remain affordable in 2012. Prices will range between $250 and $1,250, in comparison to the current prices ranging from $160 to $1,400.
Season ticket packages in 2012 will be available in five categories, $250, $350, $550, $850 and $1,250. Tickets in the south-east section, the new “family zone”, are available on a per game basis only.
All season ticket holders in 2011 have been given automatic priority for renewal in 2012 and are now able to confirm their seats beginning today by contacting the Impact’s sales and services department at 514-328-3668.
“We are only a few months away from the biggest change in the history of the club,” said Joey Saputo, president of the Montreal Impact and Saputo Stadium. “MLS is the most prestigious league in North America. We hope to experience this transition with our most dedicated fans, our season ticket holders. We are thanking them today for their support by offering them the first opportunity to be part of the MLS adventure.”
Fans that are not season ticket holders in 2011 will also be given a chance to have a spot in the new stadium by providing a $50 deposit which will place them on a priority list. The deposit can then be used as part of the payment for the tickets, but is non-refundable. Fans on this list will have priority over the general public, which will begin in less than two months, on August 1.
In addition, the Impact confirmed that the team’s name and colours will remain the same in Major League Soccer, but a new logo and team jersey will be unveiled in the next few weeks.
