The Impact will sport three different jerseys during the upcoming season: a blue jersey for home games, a white jersey for matches on the road and a pink and black one for the Nutrilite Canadian Championship.
Style and colours are similar to those worn by the club during the past years, though this year’s edition features an official Impact branded authenticity seal with five reference points.
The three stars above the logo, symbolizing the three championships captured in 1994, 2004 and 2009, are among the other special features on the new jersey. The club motto “Tout pour gagner / Whatever it takes” is also embroidered on the collar of the jersey.
ALL GAMES BROADCAST ON THE WEB
The United States Soccer Federation, in partnership with Ooyala, a leading provider of end-to-end video platform applications and services, announced Thursday that all 2010 USSF-D2 season matches will be broadcast free on the web. The 180 scheduled matches will be available live on the Web sites of the 12 league clubs.
“These are excellent news for our fans and soccer enthusiasts,” declared Impact Executive Vice President Richard Legendre. “The web broadcast allows fans to follow our club’s activities when it plays on the road, throughout the season and during the playoffs.”
The Montreal Impact, in partnership with Radio-Canada television, will broadcast live all 2010 games at Saputo Stadium on its web site impactmontreal.com and on radio-canada.ca/sports .
Soccer fans will also be able to follow the Montreal team’s activities on the road on the Web sites of the 11 other USSF D-2 clubs:
