MONTREAL - Impact U16 defender Aron Mkungilwa has been selected by the U17 Canadian men’s national team to take part in the 2013 CONCACAF U17 Championships, to be held in Panama beginning April 6.
Mkungilwa participated to the final camp of the team from March 30 to April 4 in Sunrise, Florida.
Canada has been drawn into Group B at the CONCACAF Championship alongside Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago. The top two teams from the group will advance to the all-important quarter-final stage that will determine which four CONCACAF nations will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates.
