In a game with two different faces, the Impact U15 won 6-2 against the New York Soccer Club at Centre Nutrilait, on Saturday, in a Development Academy meeting.
Montreal took an early lead in the 4th minute when centre-back Taylor Mackay scored off a corner kick.
New York immediately answered with a goal. In the 33rd minute, Abdul Binate put pressure on the defender, stole the ball and scored with a low shot. Two minutes later, NYSC equalized again.
If no one had a clear advantage in the first half, the second half was all Bleu-blanc-noir.
When the game resumed, Gabriel Antinoro scored his first goal after stealing the ball from the defender. Two minutes later, Maximilian Banfi gave him a precise pass behind the defender to help him score his second.
In the 55th minute, Abdul Binate also scored his second of the game, on another superb pass from Banfi.
Matthew Catavolo also added his name on the score sheet when he scored on a pass from Enzo Eullaffroy in the 63rd minute, to make it 6-2.
Near the end of the game, New York got a penalty, but shot it over the net.
