The Impact U13 flies to France for the Tournoi Sans Frontières

MONTREAL – The Impact U13 will fly to France on Monday to take part in the prestigious Tournoi Sans Frontières in Sens, Burgundy, from April 14 to 17.


Head coach Serge Dinkota and his team will start the tournament on Friday, April 14, against Pôle Espoir Bourgogne at 6:20pm Central European Summer Time / 12:20pm Eastern Daylight Time. The following day, the Impact U13 will face the Girondins de Bordeaux at 11am CEST / 5am EDT, and right after, the AS Saint-Étienne at 1pm CEST/7am EDT.


The schedule of the playoff games will be known following the final group standings.


In 2016, Bordeaux won the tournament over Juventus Turin after going to penalties in the final.


Thirteen French Ligue 1 clubs, three regional clubs and eight international clubs will participate in this 2017 edition of the Tournoi Sans Frontières.
