September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month across MLS. The Montreal Impact joins this movement and will participate, for a seventh consecutive year, to the Leucan Shave Heads Challenge in 2018.
First team player Jason Beaulieu, as well as players from the Academy, the Pre-Academy, and members of the administrative team will take part in the challenge this year. Also, for a second consecutive year, the challenge will be open to supporters! By raising $200, every audacious and brave supporter who wishes can get their head shaved at Stade Saputo on September 26.

Together, we can make a real difference:
- $25: provides one child with two shirts adapted for pediatric oncology treatments;
- $200: finances the participation of one teenager affected by cancer to an isolation breaking activity;
- $500: provides an opportunity for a bereaved sibling to participate in a psychological support group;
- $2,000: allows for the provision of special education services to a child with after-effects as a result of treatment.
Leucan promotes the recovery and the well-being of cancer-stricken children and supports their families by providing distinctive and tailored services and assistance through every stage of cancer and its side-effects. For more information about Leucan, visit the website: https://www.leucan.qc.ca/
