The Impact makes successful return to Centre Nutrilait

Last Saturday, the Impact was hosting Empire United in Development Academy play. It was the first home games at Centre Nutrilait of the 2018-2019 season and the Bleu-blanc-noir won its three games.

The Impact U15 won 7-0, the U17 3-0 and the U19 8-1.

The Impact U15 in control of its game

Empire United earned the game’s first opportunity, when the opposing striker hit the crossbar in the beginning of the match. Impact striker Jean-Aniel Assi scored a few minutes later for the Bleu-blanc-noir and Serge Dinkota’s troops scored many goals after that.

Gabriel Antinoro scored twice and Loic Cloutier scored once before halftime. In the second half, Maximilian Banfi added two goals and Hugo Spinola scored once, in a 7-0 win.

The Impact U17 scores three

One thing has been constant since the beginning of the season for the Impact U17 in its results: every game, Nicolas Gagnon’s team wins and scores three goals. This time, the team won 3-0 and earned a clean sheet.

Winger Jérémie Omeonga scored first off a header following a corner in the 17th minute. Just before halftime, after a superb passing play between Omeonga and Mouhamadou Kane, Junior Kabwe scored the second goal. Omeonga was also a key part of the last goal, when he gave a low pass in the box to Sean Rea for the third goal of the game in the 76th minute.

The Impact U19 wins 8-1

Montreal took some time to take control the game, but after the penalty scored by Calin Calaidjoglu in the 18th minute, the team found its usual pace and quality.

Daniel Pacella scored on a left-footed shot from outside the box and Calaidjoglu scored his second before halftime.

When the team returned from the locker room, Pacella scored his second goal and Calaidjoglu completed his hat trick. Empire United scored its only goal of the game, before seeing Mikale Fontaine, Moulay Abdallah Kanzi Belghiti and Zachary Fernandez add three more goals for the Bleu-blanc-noir.
