Impact president Joey Saputo, executive vice president Richard Legendre, technical director Nick De Santis, head coach Marc Dos Santos, as well as the players first attended the question period in the Salon bleu. They were treated to a standing ovation from the elected representatives, and then were invited to a private meeting with Prime Minister Jean Charest and Minister of Education, Leisure and Sports, Michelle Courchesne.
To close the championship festivities, a public gathering will take place Thursday at noon on Crescent Street, between Maisonneuve and Saint-Catherine Streets. The Impact will be on hand to meet the public and sign autographs.
