“We are very proud to be associated with the Montreal Impact, a team whose perseverance over the past few seasons was rewarded when it captured the league championship in 2009,” says Stéphanie Trudeau, Public Affairs Vice President of La Brasserie Labatt. “Their outstanding performance would not have been possible without the teamwork of the Impact’s extended family: players, coaches, support staff, administration and many others. Budweiser is proud to support the Impact and wishes to collaborate with the team to renew once again this feat. After all, soccer is the most practiced sport in Canada and its popularity is continuously growing.”
“The Impact is very pleased of having entered this partnership with Labatt, a proven global leader in the beer industry,” declared John Di Terlizzi, Montreal Impact Vice President Corporate Sales & Development. “Budweiser has demonstrated its commitment to soccer and to sports marketing, with an established presence in more than 90 North American stadiums. The Impact is proud to add to its team an experienced player who will be very active with our fans.”
Budweiser will have a terrace area behind the west-side goal of the stadium and 50 lucky fans at every match will get to enjoy a thrilling game experience. Various promotional events will also be organized throughout the season in selected bars, on the radio and on the web to give away passes for an access to the Budweiser Terrace.
