IMFC SuperDraft selections

The Montreal Impact has had an interesting run so far at the MLS SuperDraft. Since joining the league in 2012, the organization has found some solid additions from the college ranks.

Here is a look back at the four former draft selections currently on the team’s roster.

Scottish-born midfielder Calum Mallace, who turned 26 Sunday, has been a solid contributor in midfield for IMFC since being selected 20th overall in the club’s inaugural SuperDraft in 2012.

Full back Eric Miller, currently with the U.S. national team camp, was selected 5th overall by IMFC in 2014.

And finally, young, promising forwards Romario Williams (3rd overall) and Cameron Porter (45th), who scored the famed Pachuca goal at Olympic Stadium, were added to the Impact through the draft last year.

This is evidence that the SuperDraft is an opportunity for every club to find depth and young talent. IMFC will look to continue solidifying the future come Thursday in Baltimore with four selections.
