Due to its participation in the upcoming 2012 Italian Super Cup in Beijing, an official Serie A league match, Juventus FC has withdrawn from the 2012 Herbalife World Football Challenge.
As a result, French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain now will take on Major League Soccer’s D.C. United at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., and Mexico’s Primera Division champion Santos Laguna will face off against La Liga champion Real Madrid at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, a suitable replacement for the Montreal game that had schedule availabilities and matched the level of excitement of the rest of the clubs participating in the competition was unable to be secured and therefore the match has been canceled. Fans who purchased tickets to the Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas matches may use the existing ticket for the new matchups or receive a ticket refund.
For the Montreal match, ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase.
