MONTREAL – CF Montréal announced Tuesday that Gabriel Antinoro and Matteo Schiavoni, two midfielders from the Club’s Academy, will have the opportunity to participate in the Viareggio Cup with CF Montréal’s partner club, Bologna FC.
With nearly 75 years of history behind this youth competition, Antinoro and Schiavoni will play in a tournament that brings together multiple Italian clubs from across the country. The tournament will take between March 16 and 25 in Viareggio, in the province of Lucca, northern Tuscany.
Antinoro, 17, and Schiavoni, 16, were previously invited to attend CF Montréal’s preseason training camp in Florida.
