Four storylines leading up to Saturday's game against Chicago

Felipe celebration Brovsky Chicago Fire

One of Impact Media's best videos of 2013 was the Impact's 2-0 win against the Fire on April 27.

The Impact managed to find a few goals over its last two games, and collect a couple points, but the team is still looking for the first W.

Here are the top four storylines building up to Saturday’s game against Chicago.

1. Frank vs. Fire

Impact head coach Frank Klopas will be facing off against his former team for the first time since the Chicago relieved him of his services after the 2013 season. A little karmic if his team manages to get its first victory of the season over the Fire?

2. Will Jack Mac make his debut?

Will the Impact’s newest acquisition – 2013 MLS All-Star and U.S. National Team - forward Jack McInerney - debut for the bleu-blanc-noir this week-end? He scored three times against Chicago when playing with Philadelphia.

3. Last game at Olympic Stadium

With the weather starting to warm up (thank heaven!), the Impact will play its final of three games at Olympic Stadium to start the season. For the most part, the team has had success at the Big O, earning results in six of nine games played since joining MLS.

4. Will the scoring continue?

Since the Impact earned its first point of the season against the Philadelphia Union two weeks ago, a number of key offensive weapons have been able to break the ice. Felipe managed a goal and assist versus New York, while Andres Romero opened his account with a curler. With Di Vaio’s beauty against the Union, the strong play of Justin Mapp and the addition of Jack McInerney, are we going to see more goals against the Fire?
