Four CF Montréal Academy players called up by Canada's U17 team for World Cup preparation camp

MONTREAL – CF Montréal Academy players  Alessandro Biello, Gaël De Montigny, Étienne Godin and Sergei Kozlovskiy have been called up by the Canadian U17 national team for the World Cup preparation camp in Indonesia (November 10 to December 2).

Biello, De Montigny and Godin currently play with CF Montréal’s reserve squad in the semi-professional provincial league Ligue1 Québec. Kozlovskiy is part of the U17 team playing in MLS NEXT. Biello, De Montigny and Godin took part in the Concacaf U17 Championship in Guatemala last February, where they totaled five, six and three caps respectively. Kozlovskiy was called up to the national U15 team in August for the Concacaf U15 Championship in Santo Domingo, with four caps.

Biello, 17-year-old midfielder, joined the organization through the CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2014. De Montigny, a 17-year-old defender who was recently named to the MLS NEXT All-Star Game, joined the CF Montréal Pre-Academy in 2016. Godin, also a 17-year-old defender joined the Academy in 2020 from CS Mont-Royal Outremont. Kozlovskiy, a 15-year-old defender, joined the organization in 2022 from CS Longueuil.
