MONTREAL - CF Montréal Academy players Jean-Christophe Belzile, Sergei Kozlovskiy, Josh Nteziryayo and Daniel Panait have been selected by the Canadian U15 team ahead of the upcoming Concacaf U15 Championship, from August 6 to 13 in Curaçao and the Dominican Republic.
Canada is part of Group C, where it will face Panama, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic, with the aim of qualifying for the knockout stage.
The four Montreal players, finalists of the U15 MLS NEXT Cup last June in Texas, will start playing with the CF Montréal’s U17 squad in MLS NEXT next September.
Sergei Kozlovskiy and Daniel Panait, both 15-year-old defenders, have joined the organization via CF Montréal Pre-Academy just like Josh Nteziryayo, a defender as well, who will turn 15 in November. Jean-Christophe Belzile, a 15-year-old goalkeeper, also made his debut with CF Montréal Pre-Academy.
