On October 20, the Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence announced that Saputo will renew its commitment to the program, representing one million dollars over the next five years.
Among the recipients of the 16th edition of the Saputo Scholarship Program, five players from the Montreal Impact Academy received $2,000 scholarships: Luca Ricci (academic excellence), Mouhamed Touré (academic excellence), Thomas Meilleur-Giguère (support for academic and athletic success), Pierre Lamothe (support for academic and athletic success) and David Choinière (perseverance).
