Loux11 kicks off 2024 eSports season at eMLS League Series 1

We’re back with another exciting eMLS season, with our eSports player Loux11 set to represent the Club once again this year.

This will be Alix Largerie’s third season representing CF Montréal, following his best performance yet during the 2023 season, during which he finished sixth overall following a stellar performance at eMLS Cup in Austin.

“After two seasons with the club, I feel a marked improvement from my early days. I feel much more confident and less stressed as I approach competitions. That said, there's always a slight pressure to outdo last year's performance. I consider this pressure to be beneficial, as it motivates me to give my best.”

eMLS League Series One

We kick things off this year with eMLS League Series 1, which is set to kick off this Friday with qualifying matches, followed by group stage on Saturday and the bracket final on Sunday, which will be streamed live on the MLS twitch account. With a $20K prize pool on the line in this first tournament, the competition will be quite elevated.

“I'm expecting the start of LS1 this Friday to be particularly tough,” explained Loux. “It's going to be a tough season, especially with the arrival of European players raising the level of competition. I'm determined to take on this new challenge with confidence and determination in my third year.”

You can follow all the action as of 1pm tomorrow on the CF Montréal Twitch account.
