Death of referee Nicolas Dubuc

Dubuc, a national level referee and provincial evaluator, had made a comeback in 2007 after having his left arm amputated following the first manifestation of his cancer. He then suffered from lung cancer in 2008, and then once again from leukemia last October.

Dubuc had been assistant referee during various Impact and Attak matches, as well as during the Champions Trophy, an international match presented by the Montreal club in collaboration with the French Football League, last July 25, at Olympic Stadium.

Our sincere thoughts are with his bereaved family to whom we would like to express our heartfelt sympathy.
