CONTEST "VIP Home Opener Contest"
CONTEST RULES
(hereinafter the "Rules")
No purchase necessary. This contest is open to Canadian residents only and is governed by Canadian laws. 18 years and over.
The "VIP Home Opener Contest" contest (hereinafter the "Contest") is organized by Société en commandite Free 2 Play located at 4750, Sherbrooke East, Montréal, QC, H1V 3S8, Canada (hereinafter « CF Montréal ») and its sponsor Air Transat (hereinafter "Air Transat" and together with CF Montréal, the "Organizers"). The Contest runs from April 4th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Montreal time (hereinafter the "Contest Opening Date"), and ends on April 8th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Montreal time (hereinafter the "Contest Closing Date").
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all Quebec residents over the age of eighteen (18) on the Contest Opening Date, with the exception of employees, agents and representatives of the Organizers, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, suppliers of material, prizes and services related to this Contest and any other party directly involved in the holding of the Contest, as well as members of their immediate families, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and children, their legal spouses or common-law partners and all persons with whom such employees, representatives and agents are domiciled.
2. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary.
2.1 How to participate
2.1.1 To enter in the Contest, you must fill in the entry form at https://en.cfmontreal.com/games\_contests/vip\_home\_opener\_contest, provided you complete all required fields of the form between April 4th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and April 8th 2025, before 6:00 p.m., Montreal time.
2.1.2 Entries meeting the criteria in point 2.1.1 will offer the participant (hereinafter the "Participant") the following chances to win:
- For each entry in the required fields of the entry form = 1 chance to win.
2.1.3 Newsletter registration e-mails will be validated prior to the draw to ensure their validity.
2.1.4 The eligible Participant is eligible for the draw of the Prize (defined below), which will take place on April 8th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
Limit of one (1) Contest entry per person for the entire duration of the Contest, i.e. between the Contest Opening Date and the Contest Closing Date. Validation will be based on the participant’s e-mail address.
3. PRIZE
One (1) prize (hereinafter the "Prize") will be awarded.
The prize includes:
- Two (2) tickets for the April 12th, 2025, Home Opener of CF Montréal against Charlotte FC at Stade Saputo – Montreal (Field Level Seats Tickets) at 7:30 p.m. (Montreal time).
- Food and beverages included.
- Two official CF Montréal jerseys and two official CF Montréal caps.
The total value of the prize on offer is approximately $1,500.
4. PRIZE CONDITIONS
4.1 The Prize offered must be accepted as offered and is not exchangeable, refundable, transferable or redeemable for cash and no extension of the validity date is permitted;
4.2 The winner's guest must accept the terms and conditions of the Rules;
4.3. A draw will be held on April 8th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Montreal time, at CF Montréal's office located at 4750 Sherbrooke Street East, Montreal (Quebec) H1V 3S8.
A total of one (1) draw will be made from all eligible entries on : https://en.cfmontreal.com/games\_contests/vip\_home\_opener\_contest. Chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received between the Contest Opening Date and the Contest Closing Date.
5. PRIZE CLAIM
5.1 In order to be declared a winner, the selected Participant must:
5.1.1 Be reached by e-mail by the Contest Organizer within twenty-four (24) hours of the draw and answer the mathematical skill-testing question. If the selected Participant cannot be reached by e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours of the draw, for whatever reason, all rights to the Prize will be forfeited and the Organizer will proceed with a new draw. If the second (2nd) selected Participant cannot be reached by e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours of the second (2nd) draw, all rights to the Prize will be forfeited and the Organizer will proceed with a new draw. If the third (3rd) selected Participant cannot be reached by e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours following the third (3rd) draw, the prize will be forfeited.
5.1.2 Complete and sign the declaration and release form (hereinafter the "Declaration Form") provided by the Organizer and return it to the Organizer within one (1) working day of receipt.
5.2 The winner will be announced no later than April 9th, 2025.
5.3 Failure to comply with any of the above conditions or any other condition set out in these Contest Rules will result in disqualification of the selected Participant and forfeiture of the Prize. In the days following receipt of the duly completed Declaration Form, the Organizer responsible for administering the Contest will contact the winner to inform him or her how to claim his or her prize.
6. PERSONAL INFORMATION
6.1 From time to time, the Organizers may, with the Participant's consent, use the personal information provided by the Participant in order to:
6.1.1 Contact the winner to take possession of the Prize;
6.1.2 Communicate directly with the Participant regarding products and services offered by the Organizers;
6.1.3 Conduct a survey on the effectiveness of the Organizer's website, advertising and sales efforts.
6.2 By entering the Contest, the Participant consents to the use and retention of his/her first and last name, e-mail address and postal code by the Organizers for the purposes of administering the Contest, including communicating with the winner.
6.3 When subscribing to the CF Montréal and/or Air Transat newsletters, the Participant must indicate to each that he/she consents to the use of his/her personal information by checking the box to this effect on the CF Montréal and/or Air Transat newsletter subscription form.
6.4 The personal information requested on the Contest entry form and on the CF Montréal newsletter registration form, such as name, age (if applicable) and contact information, is collected, retained and used by CF Montréal, its affiliated entities and their respective partners and their representatives for the purposes of administering the Contest, including communicating with the winner, for the purposes of administering and transmitting the newsletters, and for any other purposes to which you have consented at the time of each registration. By providing your personal information to CF Montréal including its affiliated entities and their respective partners, you expressly consent to the applicable privacy policies available at https://en.cfmontreal.com/legal/privacy_policy. 6.5 The personal information requested on the Contest entry form and on the Air Transat newsletter registration form, such as name, age (if applicable) and contact information, is collected, retained and used by Air Transat, its affiliates and their respective partners and their representatives for the purposes of administering the Contest, including communicating with the winner, for the purposes of administering and transmitting the newsletters, and for any other purposes to which you have consented at the time of each registration. By providing your personal information to Air Transat including its affiliates and their respective partners, you expressly consent to the applicable privacy policies available at https://www.transat.com/en-CA/privacy-policy. 6.6 CF Montréal is not responsible for Air Transat privacy policies and Air Transat is not responsible for CF Montréal's privacy policies.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
7.1 The Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify a Participant or cancel his or her participation if he or she participates or attempts to participate in this Contest in a manner that does not comply with these Rules. Such Participant may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities. Any decision by the Contest Organizers with respect to this aspect of the Contest is final.
7.2 Each winner and his/her guest agrees that his/her name, image, photograph, video capture, age, location, voice, testimonial and/or statement may be used in whole or in part by the Organizers, their advertising agencies and any other parties involved in the preparation, realization and distribution of material relating to the Contest, for any purpose, through any present or future media, including social media, in any jurisdiction, and in any manner whatsoever without compensation or additional approval from the winner. No correspondence will be entered into with any person other than the winner.
7.3 This Contest is subject to federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
7.4 Forms that are incomplete, received after the Contest Closing Date, lost, not compliant in any way or sent by an unauthorized method are void and will not be accepted in the draw.
7.5 The Contest is managed by the Organizers. The Organizers assume no responsibility for any problems or failures of network lines, computer on-line systems, peripheral telephones, software, servers, suppliers, e-mail, browsers or any technical problems that may occur, including, without limitation, transmission or non-transmission problems, regardless of cause. The Organizers are in no way responsible for the circulation of erroneous or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by the equipment and/or programs associated with or used by the Contest, or due to any technical or human error that may have occurred during the course of the Contest. The Organizers assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, loss, defect in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction. The Organizers re not responsible for any injury or damage that may result from the holding of the Contest. The Organizers reserve the right to destroy all documents related to the Contest once the retention period required by law has expired. The Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or postpone Contest at any time, without notice, if any factor interferes with the conduct of the Contest under these Rules or in compliance with any law, regulation or policy of any entity having jurisdiction over the Organizers.
7.6 In the event that the winner's guest is a minor and the winner is not their parent, the winner's parent or legal guardian must sign the Declaration Form and accept the invitation on their behalf in order for them to take part in the prize;
7.7 In the event that the winner and his/her guest do not use any part of the Prize, no compensation of any kind will be paid;
7.8 The market value of the prize is in Canadian dollars;
7.9 In the event of loss, theft, damage, alteration or unauthorized use of the Prize, it will not be refunded or replaced.
7.10 The contest sponsors are not responsible for any delays or cancellations concerning the Prize that may occur before or during the game. Any loss or theft of tickets, certificates or any other property will not be compensated;
7.11 By entering the Contest, the Participant acknowledges having read and understood these Rules and agrees to be bound by and comply with them. The Participant certifies that the Rules are understandable and reasonably available for consultation.
7.15 The name of the winner will be announced on the website (https://en.cfmontreal.com/games\_contests/vip\_home\_opener\_contest) and on social media of CF Montréal on April 9th, 2025.
