Boursiers Saputo 2014

The Foundation for Athletic Excellence of Quebec (FAEQ) and Saputo awarded scholarships to 41 student-athletes last Tuesday, including five players from the club’s Academy, who shared a total of $134,000.

David Choinière (age 17, St-Alexandre), Aron McClure (age 18, Montreal), Marco Dominguez (age 16, Montréal), Esleyder Luarca (age 16, L'Assomption) and Thomas Meilleure-Giguère (age 18, Joliette) all received a grant of $2,000.

"These young players were rewarded for the quality of their sporting performances in 2014 with the U16 and U18 teams, as well as with the national team, but also for their academic achievements,” said Academy Director Philippe Eullaffroy. “We can only congratulate them for their continued investment on a daily basis, allowing for their progression, both sportingly and academically."
