Canada takes on USA for a shot at the FIFA World U-20 Cup

Canada U20 Concacaf lineup Crépeau

With three members of the Montreal Impact on its roster, the U20 Canadian men’s national team is set to do battle with arch rivals, the Unites States on Tuesday night at 6:30pm (ET). Available live on sportsnet.ca.
On the line, a spot in the FIFA U20 World Cup set for Turkey later this summer in a winner-takes-all matchup.
“We feel prepared for this matchup,” said Impact Academy U21 goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau. “We are coming off of a solid win against Nicaragua, where we were able to score a bunch of goals, so we have some added confidence. It’s a big game against a big team, but if we do what we have to, we can be successful.”
Crépeau will most likely get the start in Tuesday in Puebla, Mexico, after starting both group games against Cuba (2-1 loss) and Nicaragua (5-1 win). His Impact U21 teammates, Zakaria Messoudi (midfielder) and Anthony Jackson-Hamel (forward), are also part of the squad and both have seen action thus far for Canada.
