Canada Soccer announced the nominees for its Canadian Player of the Year awards and a couple of members of the Montreal Impact made the final list.

Midfielder Issey Nakajima-Farran is among the finalists for men’s Player of the Year, while fellow mid Louis Béland-Goyette is up for prospect of the year in the U20 category.

Voting for the 2014 BMO Canadian Player of the Year will be split evenly by Canadian media and Canadian coaches from across the country, while the prospect awards are voted on by coaches alone.

The Player of the Year Award celebrates Canada’s top soccer players in recognition of their 2014 achievements with both the National Team and their respective club teams.
