For the first time in French, the captain sat down with Impact Media, less than two years after joining the club.

Davy Arnaud explains how he’s improved his French over the last few months, despite a large contingency of Anglophones within his immediate entourage.

Impact Media and Arnaud also discussed his second season in MLS with the club and the team’s current playoff race, which could practically conclude this Saturday afternoon at Stade Saputo with a win.

“The reality of the situation, as I said this morning, is that if we win on Saturday and Chicago loses in Dallas, we will have our place in the playoffs. Hopefully, the best is yet to come for the club. We have a huge opportunity to experience something special with this team.”

Arnaud also discusses the crucial role that the supporters play in the team’s success at home.

“The atmosphere at Stade Saputo is incredible at every game. We need that more than ever for these last two home games. It’s very important for us as players.”
