MONTREAL – Defender Ambroise Oyongo has been selected by the Cameroon National Team for two upcoming games against France and Mauritania.
The Lions Indomptables will first meet France in an international friendly game on May 30 at Stade de la Beaujoire, in Nantes. They will then play a 2016 Africa Cup of Nations qualification game against Mauritania on June 3. Cameroon is currently first in Group M with two wins and two ties in four games. The group is completed by South Africa and The Gambia.
Oyongo has played 13 games for Cameroon, scoring his first goal on January 20, 2015, in a 1-1 draw with Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations. He made his debut with the selection on September 6, 2014, against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
