The Montreal Impact U18 team continues its hot play of late, defeating Everton FC Westchester 7-0 at Stade SaputoTurf last weekend in its sixth consecutive shutout in USSDA play.
Alexandar Kulic scored four goals, while Jimmy-Shammar Sanon, Aron Mkungilwa and Samuel Duffek rounded out the scoring.
“Collectively, we played one of our best games this season,” explained midfielder Samuel Duffek. “The score well-represented the way the match played out. We stayed within our identity and moved the ball around really well, especially in the first half. If we play this way against New England next weekend, we will be successful.”

The Impact U16s, on the other hand, had another tough outing, falling 3-0 to Westchester at home.
“I’m pretty disappointed with our loss this weekend because we are a strong team who should not be losing these games,” explained midfielder and captain Luca Ricci. “Personally, I think the 3-3 tie we had three weeks ago affected our confidence, which is why I think we lost our last two games. “We need some work on our finishing, because we have had a lot of chances in our recent games and defensively I think we need to work together.”
