Academy preview: U16 and U18 face FC Bolts Celtic and NE Revolution on the road

Impact U18 Home opener

The Montreal Impact U16 and U18 are back on the road and will play two games this weekend, against FC Bolts Celtic on Saturday and the New England Revolution on Sunday. The Impact U16 team is currently sitting in 6th rank of the Northeast Division, while the U18s are 7th.

The Montreal Impact USSDA teams will hope to build on last weekend's wins against Seacoast United in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The U18s won the first game 4-1, thanks to a brace by Charles Joly and a goal each for Francis Duceppe and Mélé Temguia. The U16s then beat Seacoast 1-0, with Claudio Di Zazzo scoring the game winner and goalkeeper Erhan Ylmaz getting the shutout.

The U18s open things up against FC Bolts on Saturday at 10am (ET), while the U16s will play at 12:30pm (ET) at Mount Ida College, in Newton, Massassuchetts. The teams have already faced each other, in the second week of the season, with the U18 tying 0-0 and U16s registering their first win of the season, with a 3-1 score.

The Academy teams will then head to Fall River, Massachusetts, to face the New England Revolution, on Sunday. The U18s kick things off at 11:30am (ET), followed by the U16s, at 2pm (ET) at Durfee High School.
