The Montreal Impact USSDA teams are headed to Sarasota, Florida to play in the USSDA Winter Showcase tournament this weekend, consisting of cross-divisional opponents.
Each team will play a total of three games against Academy sides Real Salt Lake, Seattle Sounders and the Concorde Fire at the Premier Sports Complex, with the results counting in the regular season standings.
The U16 side, which will be heading down to Florida tomorrow, is currently in 8th spot in its division, with a 4-5-3 record, earning a point in a scoreless draw in its last matchup versus New England. The U18s, who made their way to the airport today, fell 1-0 to the Revs in its last match, putting the team in 7th spot in the Eastern division with a record of 2-3-7.
Following the tournament, the USSDA season goes on break for the winter, starting up again on March 16 against Revolution Empire in Syracuse, New York.
