With over 2,300 kilometers separating Montreal and Orlando, Impact supporters may be chomping at the bit to get some new about the progression of their favourite players.

1. Wandou coming into form
Wandrille Lefèvre is coming into his own. The Academy product has played two really strong games so far while in Orlando, making a number of key defensive plays along the way.
2. miCoach
The Impact has begun incorporating the adidas’ new miCoach technology into training sessions on a full time basis during the 2014 preseason. The miCoach system measure a player’s speed, heart rate, acceleration and distance based on position, to maximize training developed for the individual needs of each player.
3. Important minutes for the young ones
Although it’s still early in camp, the coaching staff has been willing to give a number of young players some invaluable playing time. 2014 first round draft pick Eric Miller has started both games, while most Academy invitees (Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé, Amine Meftouh, Victor NDiaye) have seen important minutes.
