LAURENT COURTOIS "I learned that my group adheres to what we are trying to do and that they really have the personality to try what we wanted in possession of the ball. They also had the desire, even though it wasn't easy, to take their chances. Defensively, they were very high up the field and engaged in high-level duels. They rose to the challenge. We also learned that the substitutes proved themselves. I learned that my staff is capable of providing and helping to make adjustments quickly to be as precise as possible. This doesn't mean we will win every game, but we are solid and confident in our identity."
SAMUEL PIETTE "I think this match was at least a draw. I think that's what we deserved. We were still good at 1-1 and 2-2. It's a very difficult place to play, and coming back twice shows a lot of character and that we are a team that doesn't give up. Ultimately, we conceded that third goal, which hurt at the very end, but I am very proud of the guys. In terms of content, it wasn't the perfect match. But for a first game against a very good team, I think we are proud of what we did on the field."
Montréal will play their next match on Saturday, March 1st, at Allianz Field against Minnesota United FC at 8:30 PM HNE (MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, CJAD 800).
