Let's make history! #marquonslhistoire

marquonslhistoire

MONTREAL – With just five weeks until the Champions League quarterfinal matchup with Mexican club Pachuca, the Montreal Impact launched a micro website to promote this major event: marquonslhistoire.com.

Developed by Montreal designers Deux Huit Huit, in collaboration with the Impact and illustrator Jimmy Vong, the site has been designed to facilitate the understanding of the Champions League and recount the club’s adventures in this tournament, with the ultimate goal of winning and earning a place at the FIFA Club World Cup.

The site invites you to travel back in time, recalling the Impact’s first experience in the quarterfinals of the tournament in 2009, against Mexican club Santos Laguna. After earning a 2-0 shutout in front of 55,571 spectators at Olympic Stadium, the Impact fell 5-2 a week later in Mexico, losing 5-4 on aggregate.

The club looks to write a new page in its history by winning on Mexican soil for the first time and reach the semifinal round, another first. The opening leg will take place on Tuesday, February 24, at 10pm ET (TVA Sports) in Mexico, while the home leg of this important aggregate goal matchup will be played on March 3, at Olympic Stadium.

The team invites fans to play their imperative roles as its 12th player, in order to help the club make history, not just on the field, but also in the stands.

Tickets for this major event start at $25 via marquonslhistoire.com or you can procure a special package that includes two tickets and an official game day scarf starting at $82.

Note that tickets for this game are included in all 2015 season ticket packages.
