Improving in-game experience: A number of additions to Stade Saputo in 2013

Supporters Scarves vs San Jose

MONTREAL – With just a few hours before the Stade Saputo home opener, the Montreal Impact announced that a number of changes have been made to improve the in-game experience at the stadium. In addition, the club unveiled some of the themes for selected games this season at Stade Saputo.

The doors to the stadium open 90 minutes prior to kickoff, while the boutique is open two hours before the start of the game.

However, even before you step foot inside the stadium, your Impact experience begins with a new welcome team and shuttle service to assist spectators in Olympic Park.

In addition, as a supplement to the official souvenir magazine, a limited number of game day programs will be given away before the game. The magazine is available at the Info-Billets kiosk, customer service and at the Impact boutique.

To complete the food and beverages offered by the Cage aux Sports, a number of new concession stands will offer a varied menu of nourishment and beers:

  • Kiosque des producteurs d’œufs du Québec will be serving soup, egg wraps and crepes.

  • The new Terrasse Fantino & Mondello, located under the south grandstands, will be serving Italian, Pork and Philly Steak sandwiches;

  • Le Coin Santé offers Turkey Ciabatta, a Panini Club and Oriental Salad;

  • Chapiteau Bières et Grill (BBQ terrace) will serve Italian grilled sandwiches, chicken wings and spicy pork ribs in addition to a varied selection of beers (Heineken and Rickards);

  • The new Canadian Club Lounge (private mezzanine) will be serving a variety of Canadian Club products, including its new RTD mix (ready to drink), which will also be available everywhere alcohol is sold in the stadium.

  • Castello di Gabbiano will be providing a sommelier service for corporate suites;

  • And especially for the first match of the season, Tim Horton’s will be offering free coffee before the game (as quantities last).

Also note that 2013 season ticket holders receive a 10% rebate at the boutique and food concessions with their supporters’ card, while platinum card holders receive an additional 5% (15%) at the boutique.

BMO customers will have their own private entrance, with preference given to those holding an Impact credit card, or accelerated entrance for those with a another BMO card. Also, those BMO customers will be entered into a draw to choose one lucky winner for a seat upgrade and a second winner to take part in the coin toss.

The Videotron activation zone has been improved with the addition of a new virtual soccer game and four stands have been setup to recharge your smart phones and watch the game.
