The Impact will leave for Mexico this Thursday in order to prepare for its Champions League final opening leg next Tuesday, April 22, at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, but if you want to get your footy fix before then, the UEFA Champions League kicks of tomorrow.

The knockout stage begins with a double fixture at 2:45 pm EDT as Spain’s Atletico Madrid is playing a derby against his city counterpart Real Madrid, while Italy’s Juventus plays the first leg at home in Torino against Monaco (France).

The Champions League tournament from across the Atlantic Ocean is now in the quarterfinal round and the eventual winner will qualify for the prestigious FIFA Club World Cup, along with the winner between the Impact and Club América from CONCACAF, as well as the champs from the four other FIFA regions to and the host team, to crown the top club in the world.
