MONTREAL – CF MontrĂ©al will host the New England Revolution in the second of a three-game homestand at Stade Saputo on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EDT (Apple TV, TSN 690).Â
In its last two matches, Philippe Eullaffroy’s squad opposed the Eastern Conference’s first place team (Nashville SC) and second place team (Inter Miami CF). On Saturday, the Montrealers will square off against the Revolution, the third place team in the East. Defensively, Montreal has only conceded three shots on target in its last three MLS games. Two of the three shots on target came from the penalty spot.Â
CF MontrĂ©al will look to avenge its last matchup with the Revolution after falling 3-0 in Massachusetts on April 4. The Revolution is currently unbeaten in its last two games since returning from the World Cup break. Marko Mitrovic’s team will play its first road game since May 23. New England currently holds a 1-4-1 record on the road this season.Â
Victor Loturi could establish a new record this Saturday by playing a 52nd consecutive MLS game in a Montreal uniform. Loturi is currently tied with Samuel Piette (51 - 2017-2019) for most consecutive games played by a field player. Mauro Biello holds the Club’s all-time record for most consecutive games played (70 from July 24, 2004 to May 20, 2007).
