Bernier, Gagnon-Laparé, Nakajima-Farran and Ouimette with the Canadian National Team

MONTREAL – Midfielders Patrice Bernier, Jeremy Gagnon-Laparé and Issey Nakajima-Farran, as well as defender Karl W. Ouimette, were all selected by the Canadian National Team to play in the international friendly against Jamaica on September 9 at 7pm at BMO Field, in Toronto.


Impact team captain Patrice Bernier could reach the 50-cap plateau with the Canadian selection. He has played a total of 49 games for Canada, taking part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2005, 2007 and 2009, as well as FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in 2004 and 2008.


Nakajima-Farran has played 30 games with the Canadian National Team since 2006, while Gagnon-Laparé and Ouimette have played four games and one game with the senior team, respectively.
