MONTREAL – The Canadian Soccer Association unveiled on Friday the schedule for the 2014 Amway Canadian Championships, in which the five professional soccer teams in Canada will play for the Voyageurs Cup and the chance to represent their country in the CONCACAF Champions League.
The Impact, winners of the 2013 edition of the tournament, will play its semi-final home and away aggregate goal series against the winners of a knockout series between NASL sides FC Edmonton and the expansion Ottawa Fury FC.
The Impact opens the series on May 7 on the road before hosting the return leg at Stade Saputo on May 14.
Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC face off in the other semi-final series.
Please note that the three MLS clubs are ranked based on the MLS regular season standings in 2013.
