MONTREAL – With five days left until the Impact’s Champions League semifinal home leg against Costa Rican club Alajuelense, set for 8pm on Wednesday, March 18, at Olympic Stadium (TVA Sports, Sportsnet One & World, TSN Radio 690), the Montreal Impact announced on Friday that over 25,000 tickets have been sold.
The organization counts on its 12th player, more than ever, to be a part of this historical event - a first in club history - and asks all to wear their blue colours in the stands next Wednesday.
Tickets are available on the updated version of the website marquonslhistoire.com, at ticketmaster.ca (1-855-790-1245), as well as at the Stade Saputo ticket office. A package of four tickets is available at a cost of just $80 (purple section only).
A special double-pack of tickets is available, with a 15% discount when purchasing tickets for games on March 18 (Alajuelense) and March 28, the home opener in MLS against Kaka and expansion club Orlando City SC. This offer is available at the Stade Saputo ticket offices or by calling 514-328-3668.
The decisive match of the series will be played in Costa Rica on Tuesday, April 7 at 10pm ET (TVA Sports, Sportsnet One & World, TSN Radio 690).
The bleu-blanc-noir is one of the final four teams in the CONCACAF tournament and is the only remaining club from MLS after having eliminated Mexican club Pachuca on March 3 at Olympic Stadium, in front of 38,104 spectators. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the prestigious FIFA Club World Cup.
