2015: Acquired by the Impact on January 27 from the New York Red Bulls, along with defender Ambroise Oyongo, an international player spot and allocation money, in exchange for midfielder Felipe and the first spot in the MLS allocation ranking… Played 878 minutes in 20 games in his first season with the Impact, including 10 starts… Ended a streak of 80 consecutive games played in MLS due to an injury on June 20, 2015, tying for the sixth longest streak in league history, from October 27, 2012, to June 13, 2015… Reached 150 career games played in MLS on August 5 against the Red Bulls… Played three Amway Canadian Championship games, including two starts… Also started one game with FC Montreal, in the USL.

2014: Set a personal best and finished tied for second on the Red Bulls with nine assists, while adding two goals… Also led the team with 34 games played and finished tied for third with 30 starts and fifth with 2,641 minutes… Started all five MLS Cup Playoffs games, helping the team reach the Eastern Conference Semi-Final… Also played three CONCACAF Champions League games, starting one.

2013: Acquired by the New York Red Bulls on February 11 from the Portland Timbers in exchange for allocation money… Helped the Red Bulls win the Supporters’ Shield, appearing in all 34 regular season games with the team, finishing fourth with 2,504 minutes, while recording four goals and two assists… Scored one goal in two MLS Cup Playoffs games, in the quarterfinals against the Houston Dynamo… Also took part in two U.S. Open Cup games, including one start.

2012: Led the Timbers with six assists, playing 24 games, including 14 starts, and 1,302 minutes in his second season in Portland… Also played one U.S. Open Cup game.

2011: Began the season with FC Dallas, starting 16 of 22 games… Also played two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup games… Traded to the Portland Timbers on August 9 in exchange for midfielder Jeremy Hall… Played six games with the Timbers, recording three starts.

2010: Drafted in the third round, 44th overall, by FC Dallas at the MLS SuperDraft… Recorded two goals and three assists in 17 games, including 12 starts, and 1,054 minutes… Made his professional debut on March 27 against Houston… Registered his first career goal and assist on August 14, in a 3-1 win over D.C. United… Also appeared in two MLS Cup Playoffs games.

AMATEUR
2008-2009: Recorded four goals in 17 games with the Kalamazoo Outrage, in the USL Premier Development League.

2007: Scored one goal in 12 games with the West Michigan Edge, in the USL Premier Development League.

2006: Scored two goals in eight games with the Kalamazoo Kingdom, in the USL Premier Development League.

INTERNATIONAL
Played two games with the United States national team, playing his first match on January 22, 2011 against Chile… Also faced South Korea in a friendly game on February 1, 2014.

COLLEGE
Played a total of 91 career games with the University of Indiana, including 80 starts, recording 12 goals and 13 assists… Selected twice to the second team All-Big Ten selection, and once to the first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2007. He was a unanimous pick for the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2006… Was also a standout in the classroom as a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.

YOUTH
Attended Portage Central High School, where he was named NSCAA/adidas Boys High School National Player of the Year and Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year in 2005.

Son of Donald and Donna Alexander… Majored in finance in the Kelley School of Business.
