It was back to work for the Impact on Wednesday, as the MLS expansion club returned home to Montreal for a quick week of training before heading off to its next preseason camp in Southern California.

MLSsoccer Montreal beat reporter Olivier Tremblay was at Marie-Victorin to watch the players take the pitch and talk to head-coach Jesse Marsch. The Impact’s head coach explained the decision not to keep forward Reda Agourram, and gave an injury update on Colombian defender Nelson Rivas.


Marsch also admitted that Montreal had been in the run to acquire the services of Sébastien Le Toux, who signed with the Whitecaps on Tuesday.
