It took the Impact six games before it tasted victory, but it was made even sweeter as the home side triumphed over arch rivals Toronto FC at Olympic Stadium on April 7.
In a 2-1 victory, the Impact scored the first two of the game off of the feet of midfielder Sinisa Ubiparipovic and forward Andrew Wenger, who jumped over the LED boards to salute the Impact supporters after scoring his first in MLS at Olympic Stadium.
The Impact held on to earn the three points for the first time.
